The Girl

My photo
I am a simple gal. With a beautiful dream, not knowing if all will come true. Many desires deep within my heart(hopefully I can blog about) not knowing where to go. But because I am a very outspoken & bold I think I managed to climb up certain stairs in my life, which brought light into my life... And now I am progressing =) Well I wouldn't really say simple as have been pampered since young. So ya... I only update my blog once in a blue moon, like a thriller story you know? Excited to know what is in the climax.. LOL... Anyway, hope you enjoy reading my blog! MUAAAAHHH!!!

Batam Trip during the weekends 05/04 - 06/04... Part 3 Day 2

So we woke up Batam timing around 9 plus and my hungry husband actually woke me up! He woke up already showered & than woke my up! -.-" WTH!!! 9am only leh! so i woke up washed up & went for breakfast.. the variety was good.. 100 times better than the ones at Bali :)

the spread was worth it for a $50 hotel with breakfast!

after breakfast we wanted to swim..

but we realized that the water was super low!
below waistline for Jason :(
so sad!!
so we didn't swim!
YES!
there is a net above!!
wonder why?
cause i think they're expanding the hotel
they don't want the debris & all to fall on people so ya!
the only minus point in the hotel!
other than that everything else was perfect!
stuff kept greeting non-stop!
when we checked in, the staff actually followed us to our rooms,
switched on all the things & made sure we were comfortable
and than he left..
i was impressed! very sweet people..
so we went back to our room packed, washed up
and checked out at 12 noon..

we wanted to go over to mega mall to watch Need for speed in Imax,
but sadly it was only at 0645pm!
and our ferry was at 0700pm.
so we didn't go!
we took a taxi to harbour bay mall,

had BFC there..
another gross option..
food took forever to come!
and it wasn't that great!

SO EXPENSIVE!!!
OHH MAYYNNN!!!!
ANOTHER FOOD WASTER!!!
:(

After our meal,
we wanted to check our ferry to see if we can book the 2pm one instead..
since it was still early & we cannot watch need for speed anymore :/
so we went to search for the counter..
YES! there was enough room for the ferry!
so we got our boarding pass and went want to look for layer cakes..
the prices really varied for the layer cakes man!
some were as cheap as RP75000 = $8.50 and some went all the way up to RP180000 = $20.45
WOW!!!
That is alot!!!
so were got the cheapest one at RP75000...

THE SHOP WHERE WE GOT IT!
WHEN WE WENT TO QUEUE FOR DEPARTURE,
WE ACTUALLY SAW MANY PEOPLE CARRYING THE PAPER BAG! SO I THINK IT WAS A GOOD OPTION! ;D CHEAPER SOME MORE LA! U THINK PEOPLE COME ALL THE WAY HERE & STILL WANT TO SPEND SO MUCH?

THEY WOULD RATHER SPEND LESSER AND STILL TRY THEIR LAYER CAKES WHAT!
$20 FOR JUST A LAYER CAKE IS TOO MUCH LA! HIYO!

THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS LIKE! ONCE I WENT BACK HOME!  I TRIED IT! IT WAS SUPER SOFT & NICE! NEXT TIME MUST BY BIGGER ONES! SINCE THEY'RE GOOD! :D

after purchasing this... we slowly went to walk to the minimart!
jason was crazy over the Indo curry mee -.-"

this is the one, if i am not wrong!
it is about SGD $0.30 per cup!
he got himself so many!!!
and than i bought a roller perfume for SGD $1 :)
escada

quite worth it tho..
in SG u prolly get 1/4 of this for $1.
and u will be able to smell alcohol..
whereas..
for this no alcohol smell..
and i am actually using for work!
not so strong & not too heavy the smell..
like just nice :)

HUBBY HAPPILY SHOPPING
IN THE MINIMART!
WHO ON EARTH SHOPS IN A MINIMART?
JASON DOES!
PEOPLE BUILD HUGE HYPERMARKET TO SHOP, HE WOULD RATHER SHOP HERE!
-.-"

after shopping and all..
we went to the departure lane
the queue was freaking long & we were 20mins before the ferry was about to depart!
OMG!!!
we queued!
while queuing...
i saw an alcohol shop!
i went to check out the prices!
SUPER CHEAP AS USUAL!
ask the man if can bring in to SG!
he said can!
lucky i never buy cause he was actually lying to me :/

WHILE WAITING FOR OUR PASSPORTS TO BE STAMPED!

guess what no sign board, no screen, nobody showing directions, nothing okay!
just a small waiting area with prolly 20 chairs..
this is where u need to follow your Singaporean culture of "MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO"
we saw many people who had the same boarding pass in one direction,
so we followed!
we walked.. kept walking..
and saw our ferry!!!

cause they allowed us to board batch by batch..
every 20 people board while the rest waited..
boarding was a little slow..
so we had time for more pictures :D

i wanted to take picture of him with the beautiful landscape of the sea & sky
(cause the colour very nice)
but it was too bright already :(
but nvm!
still got something better than nothing!

OUR BEAUTIFUL BATAM FAST FERRY!
SINCE I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICTURE WHEN I ARRIVED!
I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE FERRY BEFORE DEPARTURE :D
YEAY ME!

CHECK OUT THE BEAUTIFUL COLOUR THEME!
SERIOUSLY LOVE IT!!!
 ITS SO PRETTY!!!

YUP THE BEAUTIFUL ME! :P
people always complain about me loving myself too much!
but i don't care :P

our beautiful departure hall!
:D

Singapore is amazing!
yea right!

Batam Trip during the weekends 05/04 - 06/04... Part 2

Continuation of DAY 1...

after checking in... we took a taxi to Nagoya Mall to catch a movie at Studio 21!

the first movie we caught was at 1pm! it was captain america.. the screen, seats & everything was amazing! the sound effects were the one they use in Cathay (Dolby).. the screen was curved a little, it wasn't straight, so people in the side won't feel uncomfortable too.. the seats were like sofa seats! single seats, no couple seats, but that one seat itself was so spacious.. even hubby found the leg space comfortable (cause he always complains about leg space due to his long legs ) it was a good experience.. and it is 100 times better than the ones at JB CS..

they had so much of snack varieties!
Jason bought nachos, it tasted the same, the only difference is they had cut green chilli in them..
i had popcorn! can u imagine? caramel popcorn! was super crunchy & shiok...

after captain america ended, we bought tickets to divergent.. it was at 0545pm..

 OUR MOVIES
BEAUTIFUL COSY
SEATS!

after getting the tickets we walked around Nagoya, saw a lot of shops selling layer cakes.. a lot of food stalls.. than we decided to walk around the hypermarket in the basement, it looks just like our local NTUC.. just like what i read on other blogs, the household items were super cheap.. like SGD $1 u can get so many face wash... not just some random face wash... its those garnier, nivea kinds.. Jason got himself some colognes.. smell was super good :)

we went to have A&W after walking around at the hypermarket.. before going, i read in many blogs about the service, food & the place.. but i thought the might have improved.. but to my horror! the food was gross! no root beer float! waffle will take 1 hr to be ready!!! WTF!? i don't remember A&W to be this bad eh...

My sad hubby!
Cause no root beer float!
No worries at least he got to take a picture with the poster of it!

This is just one part of Nagoya. There are 3 parts to it.. Left one stretch, Right one stretch & the middle parts with different levels... Most of the shops at the things they sold were all the same.. We saw alot of shops selling perfumes 3 for 100000RP = 3 for $11 ... the perfumes were all those branded ones.. so i asked one of the shop guy, where Jason bought a watch.. i asked him why was it so cheap.. he actually was very honest.. he said 70% was the original perfume, 30% wasn't, and there was no alcohol added.. and i believed cause i couldn't smell the alcohol.. : D
Jason got himself a watch worth 50 000 RP = $5.70, i got the 3 for $11 perfume... thought of giving 1 to Jen since its her b'day this weekend :)  (YES! I AM A GOOD SISTER IN LAW AFTER ALL :P )

Than we still had time to kill so we went to book our massage at Nagoya itself..
1hr = $10 per person..  WOW!!! How much cheaper can a full body massage get?

this is where we booked it.. :)

After booking.. We had another 20mins or so to kill, so we went to the arcade.. it was all for kids! nothing much for adults, so we went to the one in the theater, there were 6 diff kinda racing games, 2 diff kinda shooting games, so jason bought the arcade card!

  RP 3750 = $0.42 per game eh!
in our country it is 2 tokens!
 1 token itself is $0.50!

After finishing the credits in the card we went to the hall to catch our movies! We had about 10 mins left & our hall was open.. so we visited the wash room! which had spray hot & was clean & dry!! AMAZING!!! Singapore u lose! ;|

divergent finished exactly at 0755om just nice! our appointment for massage was at 8pm!
so we made our way there... the ladies who massgaed us were actually very good :)
they were gently were they need to be and rough where they needed to be.. both jason and me were satisfied.
this is how it looked like.. all curtains.. but got privacy..
no it wasn't prostitution all, there were kids running around! that was the only minus point :/ but before the kids came, the whole environment was so peaceful & light.. they even played some instrumental music.. it was all worth it for $10! in singapore it'll be $45! How wonderful! come, let me clap for u!

after massage we saw a lot of shops outside Nagoya.. so we made our way there.. the people there were actually very friendly.. we wanted to eat crab.. but sadly no big ones, only those small ones and the shop charged us around SGD$18.. so we said don't want walk around & sat at a satay shop..
i think the satay failed badly! i didn't really like it! i think the Singapore ones are so much better! but it was definitely a different experience on the different types of satay tho! after having our satay, we went to back to our hotel and knocked off! super tired!

THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE AND THEIR CONTACT DETAILS!

Batam Trip during the weekends 05/04 - 06/04... Part 1

So we went on a 2Days 1Night Batam Trip.
It was amazing!
Woke up as early as 0645 for the ferry as our ferry was departing at 0910 :(
Early but excited!

DAY 1

We went lost.. As it was our first time, soo we didn't know go where, do what.. LOL.. we just anyhow walk! lol.. And we found it! It said to report 2 hours before ferry.. we reached 20 mins before -.-" WTF! i know right! so we search for our counter.. went lost.. run everywhere cause we don't know where our counter was & Jason went to ask a lady from another ferry.. She guided us..

We took our boarding pass, our return ticket was open ticket, which means we are allowed to come back anytime :)
when we asked her how does it work, she was a little blur (maybe don't know how to explain in English i guess) so she just told us to call to book..

We were like okay never mind, thanks for helping.. And left to find our ferry...

So yup!!! was quite excited to come across this sign actually!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...!!
but sadly we were not going on cruise :( so ya! maybe next time! we should go on a cruise..
That will be more exciting!!!

Yup! while rushing i still had time to stop & snap :) as long as there is Sharon there will be picture! so ya! time has never been a worry for me :)

MY HUBBY GOT EXCITED LOOKING AT THE MODEL CRUISE! HAHAHAHA!!! WANTED ME TO SNAP A PIC! LOL!!!

My boarding pass & the ferry departure screen...
We felt lost again... not sure what were the screen saying.. but managed to figure out.. HAHAHAHA..
actually it said Gate 4! there were 3 gates leading to the same jetty.. so there was one long queue .. Jason tried to be alittle funny & tried going thru gate 3 instead and he successfully went thru! WOOOHOOOO!!!.. so we were on on the first.. ran up! and we chose the seats with more leg space..

the pretty views from where i was sitting.. it was a rainy Saturday morning.. but who cares.. i still when on a boat right man! YEAY us! HAHAHAHAHHA... As usual being the curious me! i wanted to know how did the "outside" of the ferry felt... so i had to go out! And we went! And that's where beautiful pictures were taken!

OUR BEAUTIFUL, BATAM FAST FERRY :D
forgot to take a picture when i got off.. remembered when i was walking...

this is where we arrived... Harbour Bay Jetty!
We reached pretty early.. We went to check out the duty free and can u guess the price of an alcohol.. ?
It is like 180,000RP = SGD $20. Its bloody cheap! We didnt get any cause we taught there would be more near our hotel..

But what we didn't know was that we reached very early..
Life starts only at 12pm over at Batam! I think its a land made for me :) **atleast i can start work at 12pm!**
so we saw a harbour bay mall & wanted to walk around it..
and same thing.. all shops closed :(
so we went back near the jetty there were some canteen kinda place.. and we had our breakfast there...

JASON'S MANGO JUICE!
(yes! it is called mango juice!)
but it is mango ice blend & it was amazing!
JASON'S NASI GORENG!!!
OMG! IT WAS HEAVEN!!!
YES! I LOVED IT!!!
:D

MY NASI AYAM PENYET!

i wasn't really a penyet fan!
but it seemed familiar..
so i bought this...
it was super amazing!
i can eat like 100 of these...
i actually didn't really like the ones back home in Singapore...
This definitely won my heart!

Their chilli was super spicy! But i loved it!
It was like an alarm clock! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!
i was so sleepy, i tried alittle & i was okay!
but it was super shiok!!!!

After having breakfast... We decided to check in, cause we didn't know what to do as it was too early.. So we asked for taxi over to our hotels.. At Batam u don't have to worry about taxi.. they all run to u and ask u if u need a lift, but in SG u got to wait don't know how long before u can get a ride -.-"
so one uncle offered us a cab ride to our hotel for 70,000RP = $7.90. it was quite okay with us, cause our hotel was super far in... we stayed at Batam Center Hotel..

MY BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! YES THESE ARENT MY OWN PICTURES I STOLE IT FROM AGODA, BUT THEY DID NOT EXAGGERATE... EVERYTHING LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE HOW IT IS...

we got our room on level 6...
